GOC PD Rising Star Latin

The professionals started into their Rising Star competition with 21 couples, eight less than last year. Six of them danced the final. Alexey and Uliana Birman won all dances and with that first place and secured the 13th gold medal for their country. Andrzej Cibis/Victoria Kleinfelder made a big jump forward as they danced from place seven in last year’s semifinal to this year’s second place in the final. They won silver. Two couples ended with the place cipher 20. In the end the better place ration counted. Through that Shinawa Lerson/Pressyanoot Patoomsiwiroje won bronze followed by the second German couple Marius Eckert/Zsofia Garbe, who improved over six places compared to last year.
