The gold medal in the Professional Standard competition stays in Stuttgart - Benedetto Ferruggia / Claudia Köhler stood on the first place of the winner's rostrum at the Liederhalle for the seventh time.

Tonight an increased ratio of participants (30%) meant a novelty for the WDSF Super Grand Prix Professionals Standard competition: 6 couples with a star were allowed to skip the first round. Benedetto Ferruggia / Claudia Köhler took care of a well-known picture on the first place. They won their seventh German Open. Last year's runner-ups, Emanuel Valeri / Tania Kehlet, won the silver medal again in 2016. Donatas Vezelis / Lina Chatkeviciute Bronze fought their way back to bronze with five third paces.
