On 11 August the starting signal for the 34th edition of the German Open Championships would have been given. As already published on 5 May, the world's largest dance competition also became a corona sacrifice.
Nevertheless there is a small piece of German Open 2020 . Summarised in just under three minutes in the SWR regional show on 11 August from 19:30. Martin Thiel interviewed Heidi Estler, President of the German Dance Sport Association, Wilfried Scheible, Managing Director of GOC Tanz Event Management (TEM) GmbH and Marius Andrei Balan, among others, on the current situation.
