For the Rising Star Adult, Senior I, Senior II, Senior III and Senior IV competitions, the appropriate age restrictions apply.

The registration fee must be paid once per competition. This also applies to competitions that are scheduled over two days. A participation without confirmation will not be possible. In the event of television coverage or video recording the competitors agree that the rights to any fee from such productions will vest solely with the GOC-organizers. All data will be taken on file. 

The WDSF dress regulations (see www.worlddancesport.org) apply to all competitions. Couples which are dressed against the WDSF dress regulations are not allowed to dance or get no marks in the first round.

When violating the WDSF restrictions of syllabus couples of the age group "Juveniles I und II" will be disqualified ( www.worlddancesport.org).

Information from Mr. Herbert Waller (Chairman WDSF Anti-Doping Commission): 
Doping controls can and will take place at various competitions during the GOC 2023. The competitions to be tested will be decided by the WDSF/DTV Doping Control Team (DCT).
For all WDSF competitions the WDSF Anti-Doping Code 2023 is applicable (see www.worlddancesport.org, Anti-Doping Commission).
For all other GOC competitions the NADA/DTV (national German Anti-Doping Agency) Anti-Doping Rules are applicable.
By registration for the competition(s) each and every participant as well as athlete support personnel are deemed to have agreed to and accepted the terms and conditions of afore mentioned anti-doping regulations.

Registration can only be made via the registration portal. The registration fee must be paid in advance.

When nominating couples must give their MINs (WDSF Member ID Number) for both partners. If you don't know your MIN, you can find it at WDSF List of Couples.

The rules for the Solo Competitions during the GOC 2023 are according to the WDSF Rules for Solo Competitions.

• The competitors in the Solo Competitions need a WDSF MIN.
• There will be no WDSF Ranking List Points.

Dress code:

The dress code of the highest class of the respective age group applies. I.e. everything from street clothes to competition dress according to the rules is allowed.

Allowed: Couples in A/S class
Not allowed: place 1 to 50 of the WDSF ranking lists

In Adult A, Senior I A and II A competitions at the GOC, only couples of the second highest national category of the national WDSF member federation with A-class competition book are allowed to participate.

Senior I A and Senior II A couples are not allowed to participate if the couple

• is listed in the WDSF ranking list Senior I + II + III + IV at place 1 to 50 (01.08.2023)

Senior II A1 couples from Italy are not allowed to dance.

Adult A couples are not allowed to participate if the couple

• is listed in the WDSF ranking list Adult or Senior at place 1 to 50 (01.08.2023)

This will be exactly controlled at the check-in.

Couples without competition book are only allowed to start in A-class competitions at the GOC with an A class-confirmation from their national WDSF DanceSport federation (not from the club).

Without competition book or class-confirmation given by the national WDSF member federation a participation in A-class competitions at the GOC is not possible.
