A clear case for Lithuania
For the Juniors I and II, the GOC begins with the ten-dance competitions; for the Youth, the combination is the crowning finale on the last day. 39 couples from three continents - Europe, Asia and North America - had three rounds to determine the winners. The place at the top was ultimately taken by Kristupas Mlinskas/Liepa Rudnickaite from Lithuania, who finished seventh at last year's GOC and were runners-up in the youth and U21 combined this year.
Second place went to Emil Korotin/Sivan Yacoby, who have only been dancing together for a few months and came eleventh at the European Youth Latin Championships in June.
Armands Goldbergs/Anastasija Cernigova have also already gained experience in Germany this year and reached the final in the standard tournaments at danceComp and in Bremen. They are runners-up in the combination in their home country of Latvia.
