A competition over three days

The WDSF Open Standard Rising Stars started their competition the day before with 163 couples. Shortly after midnight the following day, two days after the start of the competition, the winner was decided. The Beethovensaal was not yet fully occupied on Wednesday evening, but the couples did not miss the opportunity to collect their well-deserved applause together. Yuan Ding / Ruifeng Wang (China) had the largest number of fans behind them, and their narrow competition victory was celebrated loudly by the Chinese fans. In the close 2:3 decision, Edvardas Masaro / Gabija Lapseviciute (Lithuania) took the silver medal in second place. Riccardo Perretta / Chiara Perretta (Italy) followed in third place.
