China on the podium

117 couples started the competition in the morning, with four nations still represented in the final of the top six. The GOC Adult A Latin competition ended with a triple success for China. Not only did the entire podium go to the Middle Kingdom, but places 1-3 in the dances also remained there. The gold medal went to Weiyi Xia / Yijia Li, who won all the dances, ahead of Xin Meng / Wanyi Lai, who only came thirdin the Samba, but otherwise took second place. The bronze medal went to Shijie Kang / Ying Wang.
