Energetic young talent

Late in the evening, there was still a lot of activity and, above all, a breath of fresh air in the Alte Reithalle. The young couples in the main standard group presented themselves with energy and exuberance. 69 couples from 16 nations had entered the competition – China and Germany accounted for half of the field.

While China was still represented by three couples in the final, the German participants were eliminated in the second round. Gold and bronze remained in the Land of the Rising Sun and were awarded to Shuaiqi Chen/Wei Chen (gold) and Shengzhe Wang/Jiaxue Gao (bronze). Nicolo Norbiato/Martina Ninni secured the GOC silver medal with three second places and one first and fourth place each.
