Final with DTV participation
Not only children can win gold medals with the Romanians. On the last day of the GOC, Romanian couples won three competitions - The Juveniles I Standard, Children II Latin and, in the evening, the WDSF Open U21 Standard in the Beethovensaal. Couples from 19 countries competed here, including eleven couples from China alone. Luca Teodor Butnaru/Julia Denisa Bidica and Maxim Zhilenkov/Alua Kargabaeva provided world championship splendour. Maxim Zhilenkov/Alua Kargabaeva, third at the World Championships, took second place in all dances. Pijus Palskys/Anna Berzina took third place on the podium.
