Almost exactly one month ago they won the bronze medal at the World Games in Birmingham. In Stuttgart they left all their competitors behind with a lead of almost six points: Vaidotas Lacitis/Veronika Golodneva took the lead in the international field and won gold. GOC silver went to the World Championships semi-finalists Edgar Linis/Eliza Line, who left Matteo Cicchitti/Simona Brecikova, fifth-placed at the 2021 World Championships, behind.
