Gerald Thallinger passed away

It is with great dismay and sadness that we have learnt that our long-time volunteer, Gerald Thallinger from Austria, has passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. For many years, Gerald Thallinger was one of the few international volunteers and was a member of the GOC competiton protocol team. With his great professional expertise and his human, harmonising manner, he was always a support for the whole team

He will leave a gap that we will hardly be able to fill. We will miss him.
