One stays one
Sometimes it works out – the number one on the start list remains number one in the final results. That’s exactly what happened for Carlo-Beniamin Bogus and Raisa-Maria Scrab in the Latin competition of the Juveniles 1 category, the youngest age group (up to nine years), which featured 18 couples from seven countries. The Romanian champions of their age group had already danced in the final last year.
Adam Tinkelman and Anna Krasilova from Israel, still relatively inexperienced internationally, made an impressive debut by securing second place. The German DanceSport Federation (DTV) was represented by three couples, one of which reached the final: Mykyta Bondaryev and Eva Weimann. After the first dance, they were just outside the podium but made up ground in the next two dances, ultimately earning third place.
