WRRC World Cup Boogie Woogie Main Class

In a festive setting – fitting for the slow conclusion of the tournament days – the two final rounds of the Boogie-Woogie World Cup Main Class were held in the Beethoven Hall. The high-calibre field promised thrilling duels: on the dance floor were couples who had already danced their way to the top at the European Championships, World Championships and the first World Cup of the season.

The final ended with a clear double victory for Sweden. Lena Magnusson/Tobias Ramberg, reigning European champions, second in the world rankings and already winners of the first World Cup this year, were convincing once again and took gold. Second place went to reigning world champions Wilma and Viktor Edlund, who had been in fifth place at the start of the season.

Ida Keränen/Juho Päivinen from Finland were delighted with bronze. With this result, the pair confirmed their third place from the start of the season and once again asserted themselves among the world's best.

The final was also well attended by other prominent pairs: Nelly Rodiac/Lucas Charrier from France, who finished seventh in the European Championships, came fifth, while Carlotta Corsi/Luca Zilocchi from Italy (sixth in the European Championships) came seventh. The final was completed by two other Swedish pairs – clear evidence of the strength of the Scandinavian nation in this discipline.
