Solo King meets 'Dancing Queen'

The two solo starters in the men's Youth Standard tournament enjoyed a special atmosphere in the Beethoven Hall on the morning of the last day of the GOC.

The quickstep caused a brief moment of tension when it had to be interrupted due to technical problems. The chairperson intervened and quickly resolved the issue before the remaining 30 seconds could be completed as normal.

While the scores were being evaluated and the podium prepared, “Dancing Queen” filled the hall – and suddenly it turned into a spontaneous disco fox. Initially danced rather secretly at the edge of the floor, the moment only became visible to the entire audience when it was broadcast by the streaming camera on the large hall screen.

After the subsequent award ceremony, the German national anthem was played for the first time on this day of the event.
