THE GERMAN OPEN SAY “THANK YOU”
Preparations are made, work is done, and then the moment arrives: the German Open begin on Tuesday morning at the Liederhalle. And just as quickly as they start, they are already over. Five days of dance sport filled with highs and lows, emotions and disappointments, reunions and farewells are now behind us. All that remains is to say: THANK YOU.
The German Open say thank you
- to the couples from all over the world. You make the GOC the greatest competition in the world.
- to the guests from all over the world who gave the couples a fantastic setting and so much support. You make the GOC an unforgettable experience.
- to the City of Stuttgart, Lord Mayor Dr. Frank Nopper, the City Council, the Office for Sport and Exercise, and the entire city administration. Without your support, the German Open Championships would not be possible at this scale.
- to the sponsors who continue to stand by the GOC and make this outstanding event possible.
- to the teams and staff at the Liederhalle Culture and Congress Centre and the Maritim Hotel for your support and excellent work. You ensure that athletes and guests from all over the world feel welcome in Stuttgart.
- to the officials of the WDSF for their trust. The GrandSlam competitions remain among the highlights of the German Open Championships.
- to the officials of the WRRC for their trust. The Boogie Woogie dancers are always a wonderful addition to the GOC.
- to the media and press representatives for their coverage of the German Open Championships.
- and especially to the more than 640 volunteers. Your dedication in front of and behind the scenes is what makes the German Open Championships possible and what they are – the best dance competition in the world.
The GOC management wishes everyone a safe journey home and good health.
We look forward to seeing you again at the
