Twice 49, twice Russia
However, the similarities between both competitions weren’t over with that. In both finals three countries were present: four couples from Russia respectively, in Junior I completed by Romania and Lithuania, in Junior II by China and Kazakhstan. Though the order differed: in Junior I all three countries were present on the podium, while in Junior II the Russian couples covered the first four places.
