TWO GOLD MEDALS IN ONE DAY

  22.08.2025
GOC Juveniles I 6-Dance

In the youngest age group, Juveniles I, couples must perform three dances in each section. This format allows for two competitions to be held in one day. Around midday, the Latin couples took to the floor, and in the late afternoon, the full program followed – the combination of three Latin and three Standard dances. A total of 17 couples participated.

The fact that the juveniles are still true “all-rounders” was evident in the final: five of the Latin finalists also competed in the six-dance final. Carlo-Beniamin Bogus and Raisa-Maria Scrab from Romania achieved a double victory – winning two gold medals in one day. Second place went to Yulian Ganev and Antonia Georgieva Dragomirova, who had placed fourth in the Latin competition but won two of the Latin dances in the combination event. Daniil Riabushkin and Yelyzaveta Krymchak showed consistent performance across all six dances and secured third place.

Final Results:

  1. Carlo-Beniamin Bogus / Raisa-Maria Scrab, Romania (8)
  2. Yulian Ganev / Antonia Georgieva Dragomirova, Bulgaria (13)
