U21 Latin well accepted: win for China

The high number of competitors, 107 couples, and the internationality of the field showed the big interest in this new competition, which was offered for the first time.

After four rounds in the Hegelsaal the last twelve couples relocated to the Beethovensaal, where they were rightly able to prove themselves in front of the spectacular setting.

The convincing winners came from China: Tian Wang/Jieruo He didn’t only leave all couples, even those with a star, behind, but also won all five dances of the final still bursting with strength. Second place went to Daniil Porcesco-Gozun/Elena Davitala from Moldova, followed by Italians Davide Cotroneo/Valnetina Corradi on third place.
