The last preparations are made at full blast. This year 511 volunteers take care of a smooth operation of the 30th German Open Championships from August 9th to August 13, 2016.

At the Mozartsaal Stephen Harnisch addressed the global volunteers (some are from as far as South Africa) right on time at 5 p.m. and introduced the individual department heads. Catering, music and competition organization, time management, press and internet and many more, everything is prepared.

The first competitions start on Tuesday morning (9.8.2016) at 9 a.m. It doesn't matter in which hall, Beethovensaal, Mozartsaal or Reithalle, each location offers "dancing total". Standing places are still available for each day, seats are only available sporadic at the box office.
