Nikita Kulpin/Sofiia Surnakova won their second GOC-gold medal in the Junior I Standard competition.

Two couples from the Junior I final had already danced in the finals of the Latin and combination competitions. One only in combination. Nikita Kulpin/Sofiia Surnakova from Russia were the most successful as they won Standard after also winning combination. Richards Krivins/Nelly Vorobjova, who had danced all the competitions in their age group, but dropped out there much earlier, became second. Third place went to Andrei Zharkov/Anastasia Petrova with only one point difference to the second and to the fourth place.
