At the international Senior I Standard competition in Stuttgart Christian and Elena Bono left their competitors clearly behind.

Through that the acting world champions stood on top of the winner's rostrum for the fourth time in a row. Dmitry Vorobiev/Oxana Skripnik danced to the second place in their first year in this age class. This meant only bronze this year for Csongos Balogh/Anita Szabo. Victor Fischer/Alexandra Rehn, who were the only German couple who made it to the final, were one place better than last year and ended as fourth. Places five and six went to Romania and Austria.
