In 2014 the PD Master Class II were added to the program of the German Open. Since then the undefeated victors of this class have been Heinz-Josef and Aurelia Bickers.

In 2017 the gold medal went to the couple from Germany again. They started into the competition in a very relaxed way in contrast to the Master Class I. On the day before the had a wrong starting time in their minds and therefore arrived just in time for the start. Today they were justifiably rewarded with all won dances  Two South Korean couples were happy about place two and three: Cheong and EunSook Lim were able to keep their fellow countrymen Jong Woon Kim/SungEun Jong at bay. A head-to-head race was also decided concerning the fourth place. Two German couples din't cave a bit. In the end Günther and Antje Nagel were a hint better than Matthias Schoof/Anja Eilers-Schoof. Sixth place went to South Korea again - Sung Ho Yang/ByungKeum Kim.
