Last year's second Grigorji Gelfond/Katarina Bauer made their way to the top at the Rising Star Standard competition and won gold for Germany.

Not only the couple from Wiesbaden were repeating their success. Two more finalists already danced in last year's final or were the couple next to the final. Third place was occupied by Maxim Pugachev/Kira Oxas, who won silver in yesterday's Youth standard competition, which means they danced twelve rounds in the last two days. Second in the competition were Romanians Marco Sirocchi/Dora Kilin.
