Friday night's highlight was the Swarovski WDSF Grand Slam Latin. Gabriele Goffredo/Anna Maus won the competition with clear points lead. Anna said in the winner's interview that she really enjoyed the competition and the atmosphere in Stuttgart.

Marius-Andrei Balan/Khrystyna Moshenska became second as expected, but rejoiced clearly more applause than the winners. However, the favorite of the audience today was the third placed couple: Timur Imametdinov/Nina Bezzubova were given standing ovations several times. Fourth place was left for Armen Tsaturyan/Svetlana Gudyno, followed by Charles-Guillaume Schmitt/Elena Salikhova. Andrea Silvestri/Martina Varadi completed the final.
