GOC Youth Ten Dances

The youth tournament over ten dances, with which 60 couples from 23 countries said goodbye to Stuttgart on the last day of the GOC, was well attended. First and foremost the European Champions Stefan Alexandru Padurariu/Malina Elena Constandache danced with victory in nine dances. Only the Samba they had to give away to the later runners-up. Kajetan Tygielski/Veronika Minkova (Poland), who had already done well in the youth tournaments at danceComp, convincingly took second place at the GOC. Kipras Kura/Elze Gintvile Valiunaite, the Lithuanian ten-dance champions, already attracted attention with final places in Bremen in June and secured third place in Stuttgart.

Most of the DTV couples had to drop out in the first round. Only two couples from Pforzheim reached the round of 24 and there the places 19 (Yevgen Golovchenko/Evita Badt) and 24 (Simon Pozarski/Caroline Böck). (Ulrike Sander-Reis)
