GOC Adult Rising Star Standard

There are always surprises at the rising stars competitions. After all there are couples competiting, who have not made it to the top yet. Today, the reaction of the audience at the award ceremony was more of a surprise than the results.

There were spontaneous standing ovations of the audience for third placed Stepan Podduev/Margarita Sibeleva from Russia. Both were visibly touched by the reaction. There was also jubilation for Chinese Yuan Cao/ Ximeng Wang. Both hadn't counted on the second place and ran on the the floor overjoyed. The audience reacted more cautiously to the announcemnet of the winners Michael Zacharewicz/Katarzyna Czyzyk, who received their medal with a certain calmness.
