Juniors I and II started with the whole program, namely the competition over ten dances, into the GOC.

60 couples started in the Junior I competition. The final was settled among couples from Russia, Moldova, Romania, and Kazakhstan. Russia was the most successful with three couples and two medals. The best couple was Kirill Kurbatov/Alexandra Revel-Muroz, who also were a part of last year's final. Moldavians Nikita Nikitin/Natalia Moraru had already earned two complete sets of medals in earlier years in Juveniles I and II and tied up to these successes with the silver medal in Junior I. New to the GOC-result-archive are Sergey Burdin/Anastasia Sitnikova, who provided a good basis for the third place in the overall results with their good Standard results.
