As a "Russian championship with Moldavian participation" master of ceremony Boris Exeler described the final in Junior II Standard.

Actually five of the six Russian couples made it to the final and there were accompanied by a Moldavian couple. The probability that another gold medal would got to Russia was very high. Winners Ivan Reshetnikov/Elizaveta Kharinova had noch reached a Junior II final up until now; Ivan had danced last year in the younger age group with another partner. German Pugachev/Ariadna Tishova, who had won the other two Junior II competitions, won silver. Bronze went to Yaroslav Kiselev/Sofia Philipchuk.
