Having started a day before the GOC Rising Star Latin competition found its climax on Wednesday evening shortly before midnight. The six couples of the seventh round competed in an exciting final.

The French couple Raffaello Brancato/Amandine van Briesbroeck, who had drawn many glances in the preceding rounds, showed themselves to be real rising stars. German fans were happy about two places on the winner's rostrum: Jan Janzen/Vitalina Bunina had drawn bursts of applause in the last three rounds. Daniel Dingis/Natalia Velikina surprised with an unusual lightness and liveliness, which they kept in the final.
