In the semi-final and final of the Senior IV competition high-ranking visitors were sitting in the audience and supporting the couples: Simone Segatori and Annette Sudol had decided to watch the competition and their students.

The six finalists were really enjoying the support of the amateur world champions and mobilized all their strength. Luciano Ceruti/Rosa Nuccia Cappello fom Italy showed the best performance through the whole competition. The world champions of this age group clearly won all the dances and through that the gold medal. Silver went to the Netherlands to Bram and Ans Strelling. Third place was won by the couple with the longest trip to the competition Nubuo and Tamiko Hayasi from Japan.
