GOC Children II Latin

Three starts, three victories - that is the track record of the Ukrainian children Danyil Dronyk/Victoriia Melnyk at this year's GOC. The two were not only the only couple in the finals of all three tournaments in their age group, but also won all three tournaments.

Last year's winners in Children's I, Lukas Ionut Gheorghe/Sandra Maria Vlad, took second place in the new age group straight away, ahead of Roman Shtepliuk/Viktoriia Denykevych, runners-up from Ukraine.

With 40 couples from 15 countries (including eight DTV couples), the Latin tournament was the largest in this age group. Pleasing from the German point of view: unlike last year, a DTV couple also reached the final round. Malik Born/Viktoria Zbarashchuk (TTC Erlangen) had won their tournament at the Dancesport Festival in Bremen in June and were fifth at the German Children's Championships. (Ulrike Sander-Reis)
