German couples on places two and four. There wasn’t a seat left at the Swarovski WDSF Grand Slam Latin on Friday evening at the Beethovensaal.

By winning the first solo dance Cha-Cha-Cha the German champions Marius-Andrei Balan/Khrystyna Moshenska lead the field. In Samba they could increase their head start, therefore they could live with the sond place in Rumba, which was the second solo dance.

Paso Doble went to their biggest rivals from Russia Armen Tsaturyan/Svetlana Gudyno again, so the lead declined. The points for Jive had to decide. Jive was won by Tsaturyan/Gudyno. Balan/Moshenska therefore could only take home the seond place in the competition, but they were content with it.

After the rating in Jive Armen Tsaturyan stayed on his knees and couldn’t believe his luck. Only several moments later he and his partner Svetlana Gudyno were radiating. In the winner’s interview he praised the GOC as the best competition in the world.

The second German couple Timur Imametdinov/Nina Bezzubova mostly reached fifth places. Their best dances were Rumba and Jive, where they reached third place. Therefore they ended the competition on fourth place.

Third place was won by Gabriele Goffredo/Anna Matus. Fifth place went to Charles-Guillaume Schmitt/Elena Salikhova from France, followed by the second Russian couple in the final Yury Simachev/Anastasia Klokotova.

Maxim Stepanov/Ksenya Rubyna danced in the semi-final as the third German couple. They ended on the eleventh place. Marek Bures/Ananasiia Khadjeh-Nouri reached the 25th place.
