Junior I combination: first gold medal for Russia

By winning seven dances and three second places in the latin section Nikita Sychev/Kristina Nesterova proved to be a real combination couple. Through this the first gold medal of this year's GOC went to Russia. Romanians Razvan Zaharia/Ana Maria Tarzianu had danced last year in Juveniles II and ranked second in Junior I. Kipras Kura /Aleksandra Chizhik can be called a highflier: they have only started dancing together im May and already won a third place on their first GOC.
