WDSF Grand Slam Standard

One of the many highlights at the German Open are the two Grand Slam tournaments Standard and Latin, which always ensure a sold-out Beethovensaal on the last two days. Already during the first solo dance (Tango) hardly anyone was left on their seats. The couples were frenetically cheered and rewarded for their performance with much applause and standing ovations. In the end, Alexey Glukhov/Anastasia Glaznova stood at the top of the podium.

Rares Cojoc/Andreea Matei were still in fifth place in 2022. This year they convinced the adjudicator and the audience with their musicality and took second place. "The two of them perform from the very first minute and are present on the floor from the very first step," national coach Rüdiger Knaack raved about Dimitri Kolobov/Signe Busk, who finished third, just one point behind Cojoc/Matei.
