Once again two German couples were part of the final.

Today the first competition of the Grand Slam series that the Russians hadn't won before, went to them clearly. Simone Segatori/Annette Sudol were defeated, but were honored with standing ovations by the audience for the great performance and will to win. Bronze went to Evaldas Sodeika/Ieva Zukauskaite. From a German point of view it was very pleasing that Anton Skuratov/ Alena Uehling were part of the prestigious final again.
